Our verdict

Fiskars really have come up with a great secateur for gardeners that struggle with hand issues. The rotating handle is designed to spread the force across the fingers and hand thus making them kinder on the joints for prolonged periods of use. Ideal for gardeners with weak wrists, arthritis and RSI.

As you would expect from Fiskars these do not feel cheap in anyway, they are far better than much of the rubbish you find in this price range. They feel super lightweight but ready for any pruning tasks in the garden.

The PTFE coated carbon steel blade cuts with ease and doesnt seem to get as much sap stuck to the blade as others I’ve tried. As with Felco, the parts on the PX92 are replaceable should anything happen to the spring or blade.

One very important thing to note is due to the rotating handle these are only for right handed users.

Who are Fiskars?

Established in 1649 (yes really) Fiskars, a Finnish company are widely recognized for high-quality and innovative gardening tools and products, amongst other household items.

The quality of Fiskars tools for the price is exceptional and as a professional gardener I own & use a fair few of them.

If you are looking to buy these secateurs for yourself or as a gift check out the other secateurs I recommend for gardeners with hand issues here.
